Registration conditions
REGISTRATION will OPEN on february 2012
DEADLINE TO REGISTER WILL BE APRIL 8, 2012
You will find all information regarding the registration process.
The registration process takes place in 2 phases:
- You register your preliminary request and upload your film directly on www.shortfilmcorner.com.
- Your registration is then confirmed only once your film has been viewed.
4 CONDITIONS to register your film with the short film corner:
- Your film must have been produced after 01/01/11
- Your film length must not exceed 35 min.
- One film per director
- The film must not have been registered in the last past edition of the Short Film Corner
Important
Registration at the Short Film Corner is reserved to short films with cinema artistic values.
After viewing your film, we reserve the right to refuse registration (for further information, go to www.shortfilmcorner.com).
Films must be in french or english, or with english or french subtitles
If you are a producer, a distributor, an organization and you want to register several films:
First film registration: 95 € (VAT included)
Additional film registration: 3,50 € per minute (VAT included)
Please note that the registration of your film at the Short Film Corner has nothing to do with the Short Film Competition or the Cinéfondation (please refer to www.festival-cannes.com).
The registration of your short film grants you a maximum of two Festival de Cannes badges strictly reserved to members of the film cast and crew.
How to register: compulsory step by step procedure:
- Validate all the different steps of your online registration
- Confirm your payment online
- Upload your film directly on www.shortfilmcorner.com
- Check your film and send your feedback
- Please note that the badge request is made online, at the end of your registration procedure.
- Your registration is then confirmed only once your film has been viewed.

By registering with the Short Film Corner:
- Your film can be viewed in the Digital Film Library throughout the Festival with an easy access to all Festival-goers.
- Your film keeps available for private viewing to programmers and buyers even after the event.
- You are invited to the many activities (workshops, conferences, meetings …) organized for you by our team.
- Your film is referenced at www.shortfilmcorner.com and in the Catalogue du court, published by the Festival de Cannes.
- You are given access to www.cinando.com (the leading database of the film industry).
- You may be eligible for one of the subventions given out by organizations supporting short films.
- You can use the three mini screening rooms available for you to showcase your film to a small group of relevant professionals.
- You benefit from two accreditations to the Festival de Cannes, to be given in priority to the director and producer of the film.
