How it works
Filmmakers and producers register their short film at the Short Film Corner during the months preceding the Festival de Cannes. During the Short Film Corner, all the shorts are viewable on demand on interactive screens, in individual viewing booths, opened to all Festival de Cannes and Marché du Film accredited professionals. These multiple viewing possibilities give you the unique opportunity to promote your film and incite short film buyers & programmers to discover your work on the viewing screens. You can also show your film in top home cinema conditions to a group of relevant professionals - gathered beforehand by yourself - in one of the Short Film Corner’s mini screening rooms. Thanks to the Short Film Corner, your short might be bought, distributed (in theaters, on TV, on Internet, on DVD...), programmed in festivals, and might definitely gain audience, renown, and popularity.

Dedicated Area for Shorts
Located in the Palais des Festivals, the Short Film Corner is a huge area open to all the professionals registered with the Festival de Cannes and the Marché du Film.
It puts at your disposal:
A welcome and meeting area
A crew
30 interactive screens where your film can be viewed
3 mini projection rooms (3/6/9 seats - on-site reservation)
A conference area


Daily Meets
Every day, the Short Film Corner holds conferences and plenary sessions on short film issues (diffusion, institutional financing, new technologies, film music, etc.).
At the end of the day, the now famous Short Film Corner Happy Hour lets you continue chatting and meet new people with a hospitality drink.



An International Programme
The Short Film Corner proposes films from all over the world, most previously unseen, as well as the films included in the Official Competition, the Cinéfondation, the Director's Fortnight and Critic's Week.

Thanks to the interactive screens, the films can be consulted at any time. Screenings can also be held in one of the theatres of the Palais des Festivals (ask us for more details).

Your film could be selected for a thematic programme organised with our sponsors. It would then benefit from extra visibility and, for some of the programmes, could be screened in one of the theatres of the Palais.

You can also take part in the Competitions proposes by our sponsors and may win a prize (your film purchased, your project financed, HD camera, editing equipment, etc
